Monday January 11th, 2021 and this day will forever go down in infamy for all of the Philadelphia Eagles and Doug Pederson fans around the world, today, Doug Pederson was fired as Eagles head football coach. Honestly, it seemed that Dougy boy was just listening to management and taking a dive in week 17 and doing whatever they can to get the highest draft pick for the up coming NFL Draft, it is hard to believe that Pederson made that decision on his own accord and was not persuaded into, being that he is a former NFL quarterback, mostly riding the pine for his playing career, but he did make it there, he has to be a competitor, right? Something smells very fishy in Philly now, even more than it did after the dive job in week 17 and do not forget, the Eagles have a statue of this man for bringing them a Super Bowl victory only a few seasons ago. The Eagles seem to be falling apart and its sad to watch, the players are aging, the newer talent is not panning out at all, no one wants to come to Philly to play, and now, most likely Pederson quit on his own team seasons after winning the Super Bowl over none other than Tom Brady and the Patriots. What will the Eagles do now? Who will they hire as their new head coach for what will be a very difficult season, having to deal with all of the covid-19 issues from the 2020 season and now with having to find a brand new leader for a broken, old, unmotivated football team.
