Thursday, January 14th, 2021, half was thru the month and not much has changed, covid-19 is still here and now has a mutant strain that is even more deadly and even more contagious, Trump is acting up, so not much is different, until we get thru Sunday. Once this week is over and next week starts we are going to have a whole lot of football to talk and a majority of it will be coming out of Cleveland, and no not the questions about OBJ coming back for next season, but about how the Cleveland Browns are in the AFC championship game and are 4 quarters away from going to their first Super Bowl in franchise history. I know, the Browns are the worst ranked team left in the playoffs in the AFC and since the Super Bowl era have been perennial losers, but after all a dead clock is right twice away right? The Browns have everything it takes to win, they have a great run game, top receivers, speed on defense and can get down and dirty and play the ball control game if they have to and this Sunday they can prove that to everyone. Baker Mayfield has what it takes to win, yes he may talk a bit too much and come off as worrying about being funny in when talking to the media and dancing on the practice field, but make no mistake about to Baker has game, this boy is a certified gun slinger at heart and has the physical abilities to get it done in crunch time, but does he have gusto inside to hang tough, I would say yes and come their game this weekend he can show it to the world. For Baker and his Cleveland Browns, there is no better stage and team to make their statement of being the next up and coming team in the NFL and could be the next dynasty of the NFL, because for Mayfield and the Browns to do so they will have to defeat the red hot Patrick Mahomes and defending Super Bowl champions, the Kansas City Chiefs.
