Today is Monday, January 18th, 2021, day 1of the NFL playoff fall out. Patty Mahomes; watching birdies fly around in his head while cartoon music plays in the background, Drew Brees; still walking out of the Mercedes Dome with a box of his personal belongings,... and a walker, and Tom Brady; same old thing, just his 14th career Conference championship game. Wow, Brady does it again for the 14th time he will be leading his team into battle for a chance to play in the Super Bowl, he is amazing, timeless, and apparently ageless too. Brady is 43 years old, Drew Brees is 42, a year younger and watching the game last night it was obvious that Brees can not throw the ball more than about 25 yards down the field anymore, or at least right now. Brees looked old, beat up, and well, retired. With minutes to go in the 4th quarter the cameras panned to Brees sitting on the sidelines while the Buc's where trying to get first downs to run out the clock, the Saints actually or the ball back after the shot, yet Brees was there sulking, appearing to be on the verge of tears, and who could or would blame him, his football playing days are over, its heart breaking. Brees leaves the NFL with just about every passing record in existence under his belt, with 1 Super Bowl victory against Peyton Manning and the Colts, and most importantly, having left and amazing mark of recovery in New Orleans after hurricane Katrina ravaged the city. However, Brees is not what this is about, its about Brady, the man who is 1 year OLDER than Brees yet looked like he was about 10 years younger. Even Bradys ark looked stronger, he moved around the pocket much better, and even skin complexion looks better than Brees's did yesterday, how, why,... BRADY! Brady is the man, the G.O.A.T and simply amazing, footballs version of Michael Jordan, and come Sunday Tom Terrific can attempt to beat the vaunted Green Bay Packers and show the world that the TB12 life style is for real. In other news Patrick Mahomes was taken out of the game late with a potential concussion after appearing to have been knocked out on the field after trying to stretch for a first down. Mahomes didn't seem to get hit in the head, it didn't even look like a serious of enough of a hit to cause someone to be knocked out, but he was, when he tried to stand up he couldn't, he fell, and would have hit the turf if it wasn't for his trusty o-lineman being there for the rescue. Andy Reid stated today in a press release that Mahomes didn't appear to have a concussion and should be available next weekend for the Chiefs 3rd straight home AFC championship game, this year against the red hot Buffalo Bills. Hmm, who isn't hurt and isn't old, and is also red hot, and about to be named MVP for the 2020 season, Aaron Rodgers and the Pack, so Brady and his fountain of youth better watch out, A-Rod is coming.
