Today is Tuesday, January 19, 2021 and we are one day closer to the AFC and NFC championship games, one day closer to seeing if Patrick Mahomes will be able to start this week, one day closer to see if Josh Allen is really the man or not, and one day closer to see which Hall of Fame bound quarterback will head to the Super Bowl representing the NFC, Brady of Rodgers. Should be an action pack couple games, hopefully, hopefully better than the last 2 weeks please, and the battle for the NFC championship will be one for the ages, Brady looks great, he defiantly isn't showing his age at all and other than the recent reports of Antonio Brown possibly being injured, Brady has his Buc's looking better than they have all season, and for the Buc's offense, best of all time. The Packers, lead by about to be named NFL MVP, Aaron Rodgers are no slouch either, they are proving that they may be the best team in the NFL, the way they were able to slow down the injured Aaron Donald and were able to work around Jalen Ramsey shutting down Adams, with Allen Lazard and company, nothing short of amazing. The Packers are firing on all cylinders just a bit better than the Buccaneers are according to the eye test, but the Buc's beat the Saints last week, without the normal Drew Brees however, damn its going to be a slugfest. That being said, another goings on around this time of year is annual Pro Football Hall of Fame, and this year there are to very special names on the list for the first time and should both be first ballad Hall of Famers, they are Peyton Manning and Calvin Johnson. Wow, in the same year we have the Sheriff Peyton Manning and Megatron, MEGATRON, the amazing Calvin Johnson, wow, he sure is missed by all these days. Johnson was dominate when he was playing, boy, he was tall and fast and stronger, good route runner, jumped out of the arena, had it all and used it all, a G.O.A.T. I remember when he retired from the Detroit Lions there were talks about the contract issues going on with Johnson and that he couldn't return right away but with, I believe, a season off to recover his physical health, he could and would be back, and he wanted to play for the Pats. Man the rumor mill began running double time, Megatron to the Patriots, with Brady, and Gronk, and Moss? This can't be real and sadly, it wasn't, but just someone saying something about the chance of Megatron coming to your team was enough to lose your mind, and how he left Detroit it seemed like it could really happen. We didn't get to see the full Calvin Johnson, Megatron, we saw like 60 percent of his career due to the Lions mismanagement again, how could they let this kind of thing happen again, after Barry Sanders doing the exact same thing, how could they squander another mega star in Megatron and at the time elite quarterback in Matthew Stafford. That being said, what we did see from both of these men throughout their careers was that of Hall of Famer caliber football players Hall of Fame caliber contributors to their communities. Thanks you.
