The Daily Dump

Saturday here we are, no NFL games on to watch, no great story lines o talk about leading into the final week of the 2020 NFL season, or is there? Is there possibly an NFL team out there that could possibly be on the verge of doing something they haven't since the early 2000's and possibly and FINALLY turning around an entire NFL franchise that has not seen its fair share of success in the modern day NFL? (Shameless and I do mean shameless plug for, The Browns: Is the time now? The Omega Sports article coming Sunday, for our weekly Sunday Stories series. On a less note sadly, my beloved Golden Domers of Notre Dame was destroyed by Alabama 31-14 and it wasn't even close. Notre Dame still sticks to the struggle though and even though I know it will make me and everyone who loves them angry, I do have to respect their decison on who to recruit for the team. Watching Alabama's student athletes made it again very clear and easy to see that Notre Dame football is more about your education then it is about winning national championships. I mean, I tried to go to Notre Dame, for education not sports and I was never accepted, again another national conspiracy against me and my success, always trying to hold me back. Sadly now it seems that the days of the Irish out smarting the other teams is over, and if they want to actually win a national championship and not just be in the playoffs, maybe they have to rethink the requirements for being accepted to the great University of Notre Dame. After all, and ALWAYS, gold and blue, thru and thru.
