Now that's over with, let's get to why we are here today, Deshaun Watson and his current saga story in Houston. Watson has let it be known now that he will not play for the Houston Texans in 2021, no matter what they do, who they get, or how much more money they are willing to offer him, even after his massive 4 year, $156 million deal he received last year. Watson is a winner, he won in high school and college and has shown that he can win in the NFL, pending he has a NFL caliber team behind him, not what he has had in Houston. Don't forget last season during the playoffs when Watson got hit through the face mask in the eye hard, it was swollen and shut fast man and we all know how much that hurts and how difficult it is to play with one eye, its hard to play with sweat in your eyes let alone someone else figures. Despite that, Watson balled, he threw a touchdown pass running to the right shortly after getting hit in the eye, what a dawg, you have to love it, specially now in the current powder puff version of the NFL we get these days. Making it clear I fully support the rule changes to keep these kids safe and also protecting not just them but their families n friends from post football issues, such as C.T.E. Now that Deshaun is refusing to return to the Texans in 2021, it puts him in the drivers seat for determining where he will play in 2021, and there are a plethora of teams needing a quarterback. If Deshaun wants to win now and in the future he needs to pick wisely here, so New England Patriots or New York Jets are out, they both need too much right now to win next season, New England may have a chance but the Jets need help. So where are the best places for Deshaun to go you say, here they are, San Fransisco 49ers, New Orleans Saints, Washington Football Team, and the Indianapolis Colts, with the 9ers and the Saints leading the way, pending Michael Thomas returns. Watson could honestly go anywhere and win just about, he is that good and really should be considered a candidate for the MVP this season, what he did and with who he did it with says a lot about his talents, and the fact we heard no complaints from Deshaun during the season says a lot about the type of person he is. Where ever he goes and who ever signs Watson is getting a top tier NFL quarterback that is ultra talented and just may win you a Walter Payton award and a couple Super Bowl rings.
