Today is Monday, January 25, 2021 and we are now down to the last two teams in the NFL Playoffs this season, the current holders of the Lombardi trophy, the Kansas City Chiefs and the now being the first team in NFL Super Bowl era to play in their own home stadium and having home field advantage, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. With the being said, the first thing that came to mind after watching the Buc's defeat the power house Green Bay Packers, in Green Bay, in the cold, and with their "aging" quarterback, was their again quarterback Tom Brady. Tom terrific now just won his first NFC championship in his first attempt and has won a record 10 AFC championships and as we all know, another record 6 Super Bowl titles, two more than Montana and Bradshaw, two more than Peyton Manning and Eli Manning combine, outstanding. In a couple Sundays Brady will be attempting to win his seventh Super Bowl ring, first as a Tampa Bay Buc and first without Hall of Fame (eventually) coach Bill Belichick, yet that still is not the biggest deal of all this going on for Tom Brady and his Buccaneer's, not at all. Brady just beat Aaron Rodgers and the Packers, but he beat Rodgers, who has been called the best or at least the most talented quarterback in the NFL today, not many will argue that statement, well not many did before now. 43 year old Brady now has an ever bigger challenge and challenger in the Kansas City Chiefs and 25 year old Patrick Mahomes, already a former league MVP and Super Bowl winning quarterback, just last season, oh yeah that's right, Mahomes beat Brady's New England Patriots to win th AFC championship and go to the Super Bowl. So, for Brady, this will be no walk through the park, not at all, he has to, like HAS TO, play one of the better games of his career when it comes to not turning the ball over, which he did 3 times with 3 interceptions against the Packers, and will need to make sure he gets his guys all on the same page and believing in themselves that they can win this game. Now, if Tommy comes out slinging that ball, which he 100% still can, and his receivers are able to get a little separation, then watch out, you know Brady will be as hungry as ever, he will be prepared, healthy, and fired up, because if he wins he not only get his seventh Super Bowl title, making that record completely unattainable ever again, he will force Michael Jordan, and his six NBA championships, to step down and Tom Brady will take his rightful place as the greatest athlete of all time. Not many have been at the top of this hallowed list, Babe Ruth, Michael Jordan, and now Tom Brady, we are witnessing history regardless of the out come of the Super Bowl, Brady is changing everything about sports as we know it.
