The Browns did it today, they didn't fold, the didn't make major mental mistakes, and most importantly, they got out of their own way finally and looked like team. Baker Mayfield looked like he is ready to take the next step and become one of the more elite quarterbacks in the NFL today. Running back Nick Chubb had a day as well, with a massive run up the right hand side of the field for a touchdown early in the game, and established that Cleveland's running game must be handled well or else they "dawg" pound it up the middle and gash you on the outside, bad like wicked bad. In other NFL news, "All-day" Adrian Peterson found the end zone today, again, finishing up another NFL season, again, and looking like he has plenty of life left in those old bones at the end of the season, AGAIN. What is in the water that these running backs were or maybe still are drinking, from the mid 2000's? Maybe Adrian Peterson and Frank Gore were able to following the map to the fountain of youth, because what these two men were able to do and endure this season was nothing short of remarkable and I believe that these two need to get plenty-o-love for their devotion and dedication to their craft, congrats boys. Well, we are now nearing the end of the day today, and that also means that we are getting closer to the completion of the 2020 NFL season, one filled with the unknown, no fans, and worst of all, the Covid-19 list, where anyone could be placed on it at anytime, just ask our boy Dez Bryant, who was actually pulled during warm-ups and told he had to leave the field because he tested for Covid-19. As week 17 ends, it reveals the playoff teams who were able to navigate thru is crazy 2020 season best and who were able to stick together and keep their "1 goal" mentalities with the most acute laser focus. We are now here, and it is now time to see who will step up and make a play and reign supreme over the NFL.
