The Daily Dump

Today is Tuesday, February 9th, 2021, and we are now back from sunny Tampa, Florida and Super Bowl LV, where we at Omega Sports were able to witness history being made with Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers winning the big game and Brady winning his 7th Lombardi Trophy. After being able to witness the fan fair and passion from the few fans that were able to be in person at Super Bowl LV it got me to thinking about the first sport that was known as America's past time, baseball and would the MLB be able to negotiate the upcoming 2021 season, like the NFL did with the 2020 season, and would anyone care if baseball were to be cancelled again this season? When I was a child baseball was still a major deal to everyone who was a sports nut, people still cared about the players and the games, kids still wanted to play it and they still found heroes at aspire to be. These days baseball is in the dumps, cheating scandals during another World Series, trumping the steroid issue of the 90's, when it comes to how low people will go to win these days. Now, with football over until the summer time, other than roster moves that will make major headlines, and covid-19 still being around, we as a country will be in need of something to be part of, something to look forward to, something to watch with the family during the nights, or even just something to makes some bets on, and baseball needs to be that for us. We need baseball to make its major comeback into our living rooms around he country this year, day time games that we can't watch but we wish we were able to, 7:05pm first pitch nights were the Sox need it tonight, we need it and we need it this season, and we are gaining on Opening Day, about a month and a half away. Play Ball boys.
