Its the beginning of a new month, a new year and I can see all of the moving trucks starting their engines and jumping in the seat to head out to some of the top NFL free agent quarterbacks, in hopes for greener grass next season. After this 2020 NFL season it is clear that next season's rosters will look a whole lot different, as names like Matthew Stafford, Cam Newton, and Dak Prescott. Stafford just played probably his last game as a Detroit Lion Sunday hurt, very hurt, like should have been at home, not even in the stadium, yet he played because he wanted to, he had to in his eyes, I love it. Stafford has been a top tier quarterback pretty much since he got to the league and now some will say that he only had success because of Calvin Johnson, but that is simply not true. Stafford still has a laser rocket arm and still can fit in just about any pass at anytime from any arm angle with or without looking, kinda starting to sound like an old Patty Mahomes. Stafford is a dawg, he is a baller, and he can win you a game even with his throwing shoulder out of the socket, well maybe, but he defiantly showed Sunday that he still has plenty of gas left in that tank of his, sadly he won't be parking his talents in the Motor City again. In a perfect world, for Stafford, Drew Brees would retire after this season and Stafford could take his place in New Orleans and help the Saints potentially march back to another Super Bowl. Or, Stafford could sign with the Cowboys for the 2021 season and Dak could sign with the Saints and allow both men to showcase their talents in a place where they will be wanted and respected, and will have a great chance to win.
