Today is Saturday, January 23, 2021 and are one day away from Championship Sunday in the NFL and are we in store for a couple of big games with 4 teams all being lead by championship caliber quarterbacks. Sunday is looking like it is going to be a very cold day at Arrowhead Stadium, perfect for playoff football baby, gotta love and, and after tomorrow we will find out which of these two quarterbacks can handle not just the cold weather, but also the pressure of having a chance to win the game and stamp their ticket to the Super Bowl. As we saw last season, we know Patrick Mahomes has guts to step it up in crunch time and make the throws and make the plays it takes to get the job done, we saw it last post season from him, but we have not seen it from Bills quarterback Josh Allen, yet. Josh Allen had an amazing season this year in Buffalo and looks solid through this years playoffs as well, but he hasn't played in this game yet, with this much pressure on his shoulders to come through in clutch and make all the throws, so we must question if he can do it or not. However, and more importantly to tomorrow game is Mahomes and his concussion issue, stemming from last weekends hit that took him out of the rest of the game. If Mahomes plays and if fine from last weekends concussion issue, then the Chiefs should roll through this game fairly easily, they have way too much speed on the outside for the Bills to handle, too many options at the running back position, the best tight end in the NFL this season, and when healthy the best quarterback in the NFL in Patrick Mahomes. If Mahomes is still not himself after the concussion issue, and I call it issue because it really didn't look like Mahomes was even hit in the head on the play, the Chiefs will struggle big time. Henne got the job done last week but barely, the offense can not move the ball with Henne in the game, and the Chiefs run game only works well when they are throwing the ball well. With all that being said, if you are going to pick a winner, pick my pick, pick the Kansas City Chiefs.
