The Daily Dump Special Edition: The NFC Championship

Today is Friday, January 22, 2021 and now, ladies and gentleman and children of all ages we are T-minus 2.5 days away from the NFC Championship game this Sunday at 3:05 EST. Wow wow wow, this is an epic battle of the top quarterbacks in the game today and in the illustrious history of the NFL. Really this game brings those warm feelings inside of me, like when something triggers me to go back to a moment of joy when I was a child, like the smell of the perfume my grandmother wore instantly brings me back in time to watching the Batman movie with her and my older sister, every weekend, what a saint. However, those feelings are quickly smashed because the last time we had this type of quarterback match up was a good ten years ago and it was between the Colts and the Patriots, or better known as Peyton Manning vs. Tom Brady, and I was a Manning fan at the time. I am a life long Packers fan but when Manning was in his prime he was my guy, the way he played the game was like no other and how he created his offenses around his amazingly talented receivers was fun to watch. Every year it seemed that the AFC championship was Pats vs. Colts and Brady out doing Manning, again, my friends cheering in joy for the guy doing it again, me in the corner crying again, and now it feels like I may have another "again" moment in my life. Tom Brady's Tampa Bay Buccaneers are really coming into their own now in the playoffs, the offense looks like they can score whenever they have the ball and the defense is playing lights out right now with Devin White and friends just killing opposing teams backs and receivers. The Green Bay Packers are an easy on to talk about on offense, they are simply the best in the NFL and they are lead by the quarterback who is also simply playing the best I the NFL for his position. The Packers defense was not great last week however, they looked to much like a bend but don't break defense and that always spells trouble deep in the playoffs, specially with the talent they have with Alexander, the Smith brothers (not really brothers or related) and co, they should be making more plays. This should be and most likely will be a historic game, two legends quarterbacks nearing the end of the Hall of Fame careers, the game is being played at the Frozen Tundra of Lambo Field, its going to be very very cold on Sunday in Green Bay, Wisconsin, who knows maybe some snow (I am not a weather man nor did I check to see if snow was in forecast at all). This is not the easiest of games to pick a winner in, it could truly go any way, both teams have everything it takes to win it all on Super Bowl Sunday, let alone the NFC championship, that being said, the one major factor here is the temperature on Sunday and the fact that the Buc's are fro Tampa Bay, Florida and the Packers live in the weather and deal with it on a daily basis, one would have to say, If you're going to pick a winner, pick my pick, pick the Green Bay Packers.
